small room dusty room
the room was smaller than advertised. my room location was in a dark area of the hotel and i heard noises near the door. the room also had dust.

ok stay, some issues though
good location tasty breakfast dust webs makeup stain
i stayed for a couple of nights and the location was pretty good. it was just a short taxi ride to the city center, costing only a few pounds. also, the breakfast was tasty and it had a good variety of options.
our room seemed a little neglected when i arrived. there were some dust webs hanging from the ceiling and curtains which wasn't great. also, it looked like a makeup stain was on the bedsheets, and i hope it was from cleaning but it was still there.

glass door privacy problem
the breakfast selection was acceptable.
I found a major problem in the bathroom. The frosted glass door provided very little privacy, and there was no lock! this.

helpful staff cozy feel spacious room rusty lanterns mouldy sofas dusty chandelier
the staff was helpful at the reception. the hotel felt cozy. our room was spacious and clean.
the outside of the hotel needs some maintenance. i saw rusty lanterns and mouldy sofas. inside our room, the chandelier was dusty.

wonderful stay with excellent service
perfect location friendly staff wide variety spacious room
the location was perfect for my planned concert at murrayfield stadium. i appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially lindsey, who provided really good service. breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, it was delicious. my upgraded room was very spacious and lovely.
the room smelled a bit strongly of perfume upon arrival, but it faded quickly.

the hotel features historic buildings with interesting interiors and exteriors. bus stops are located conveniently outside the hotel. the location provides easy access to the airport and city center.

my room included tea and coffee making facilities. bathrobes and slippers were available for use. the bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle. daily replenishment of coffee, tea, and water was nice

the breakfast buffet featured many choices with delicious, well-prepared food. vegan and gluten-free options were readily available in the restaurant. the hotel restaurant also provides all-day dining options.
